Starting My Project365 Challenge After Reading Creative Calling

After reading Creative Calling by Chase Jarvis, I felt inspired to take on a new challenge: Project365—a commitment to capturing and sharing a photo every day for a year. Jarvis’ book is a powerful guide to unlocking creativity, emphasising that creativity is not a talent but a habit. He shares his personal journey as a photographer and entrepreneur, offering actionable steps to build a daily creative practice, overcome self-doubt, and design a fulfilling life.

One of the biggest takeaways from the book is that creativity thrives with consistency. That’s why Project365 immediately resonated with me. By taking a photo every day, I’m training my eye, experimenting with composition, and pushing myself to see the world differently. Some days will be easy, others will be challenging—but that’s the beauty of the process.

Here are the images I took for the first week on the challenge. If you’ve ever considered a daily creative challenge, I highly recommend Creative Calling—it might just give you the push you need.
